xnorfootball is an independent English-language publication about Norwegian football. We go past scores and tables to examine the systems underneath: performance data, club and federation economics, sponsorship, media rights, equipment, design, supporter culture, and the style that travels between football and everyday life.

Our work combines close reading of public records and datasets with original reporting. We are interested in who pays, who benefits, what the numbers reveal, and why a jersey, venue, or athlete can become part of a country’s visual identity.
